this was my very first blogspot space. it went through many incarnations before it evolved into this final post. it started with student teaching in 2004 and ended with a brand-new endeavor. if you're an original reader, i can now be found at any and all of the sites in the sidebar, or leave me a message: thatdamnedcat@gmail.com. happy blogging!

happy

blessed be the downtrodden, they shall have three-day weekends.

ok, am not downtrodden. pretty good thursday, actually. and this week has sped by, unlike last week which i thought would never end.

today's LA LP was excellent. well, i give myself an A, because i danced around the room and read to them and made them laugh and think, and they made each other laugh, even if c. didn't see the humor in this one kid's response and i - and they - totally did. c. didn't say much though she did get excited about the author-study aspect. i think i've changed my mind about the native american unit (what the hell is that anyway?) and want to do an author study unit. will decide how to propose this tomorrow.

"art" lesson tomorrow. (my art got switched to a silly butterfly craft thingie that will look pretty for open house.)

more later about what i can't stand. i bet you can't wait to hear it.
