pilates? wtf

tomorrow: peer obs at palisades. yay! maybe morning time for laundry? i have been getting (or i should say taking) a fair amount of time off, but that's the trade-off. other people have endless hours but c.'s who love their kids and speak to their ST's like they're human beings and not monkeys, while i have relatively short hours and a c. with no personality. win some, lose some.

been trying to convince myself to walk in the mornings ... such a foreign concept to me, but was talking to one of the other ST's at seminar and she was going off about how much she loves getting up at 5 a.m., an extra hour or so early, to do pilates or something. i thought - wtf? if i had an extra hour, i'd SLEEP an extra hour! and so far that's been the reality. but i keep thinking about how good that would be for me. to get up before anyone else and be outdoors and alone for at least half an hour before the madness sets in, every day.

because there's been a lot of madness lately. c.'s been on va-ca (or as the boss likes to tell visitors, "she's taking care of business," which makes her sound like a mobster or something) so things have been relatively calm in that neighborhood. yes, it's exhausting to be on my feet all day, but that's what it's going to be like and i'm mostly enjoying the freedom i have to really talk to the kids and avoid the canned-ness that c. seems to appreciate. so ST has been okay. but i feel overwhelmed in a lot of other areas (you know, all those areas i'm supposed to shut up about because this is my ST blog?)

i'll just put it this way: am greatly looking forward to doing some laundry and maybe taking a morning walk tomorrow before heading out to PC.
